We Heart Huddersfield

Text from Raph received during yesterday's monthly catchup:

'We're tucking in to bagels this very minute.' Spiritually linked with us, scoffing pain au chocolat on Gracechurch St.

She and Nath were on their way to Huddersfield to see our new client, the University of Huddersfield. By all accounts (and virtue of the fact they hired us) they loved the presentation by Raph and Beardy, and most of all, they loved that we loved them. So much love. Group hug!

(Actually, as everyone knows, I am opposed to touching colleagues so I'll just have a sip of that celebratory bubbly, thanks.)

We developed a house style for them that uses more emotive copy so fewer words work harder, there's more space for a lovely design and best of all, the style will save them money...

Never ones to stop at just Doing the Job though, we did them some creative styles too. It was one that we almost didn't present at all that caught their eye ~ the 'It's Grim Up North' campaign... well, if everybody thinks it, we might as well address it, right? The adverts face their demons -- negative assumptions about their region -- head on, and bury them with a beautiful image.

No, that is not New Zealand. That's West Yorkshire. Where Huddersfield is. The home of our brand new shiny higher education client.
